- ▶Precautions 1 week before surgery
  - 1. Please stop taking medicines (Chinese medicine, nutritional supplements, hormones, health supplements, etc.) a week before the surgery.
    2. If you have a medication you usually take, or if you have a medical history, please tell the hospital in advance before surgery.
    3. If you have a cold (cough, phlegm) or inflammation a week before surgery, please let me know in advance.
    4. Please refrain from drinking and smoking at least a week before surgery.
    5. If you are taking prescription drugs such as blood pressure drugs, diabetes drugs, and thyroid drugs, please contact our hospital about how to take them.
- ▶ Precautions on the day of surgery
  - 1. Please fast (all foods, including water, gum, candy, and coffee) before surgery.
      * Partial Sleep Anesthesia: Fasting 4 hours before the surgery appointment
      * Sleep anesthesia: Fasting 8 hours before surgery appointment
      * General anesthesia: fasting from 12 p.m. the night before the surgery is scheduled
    2. Please come to the hospital on the day of the surgery on time for the appointment.
    3. Please come to the hospital without removing hand and foot nail polish (including gel nail) and makeup.
    4. If you have eyelash extensions during surgery on the eye area, please come to the hospital after removing them, and it is absolutely prohibited around 4 weeks for semi-permanent and tattoos near the surgery area.
    5. Remove all accessories (including piercings), do not wear contact lenses and visit the hospital.
      * We are not responsible for the loss of valuables, so please do not wear them and come to the hospital.
    6. Please prepare sunglasses, hats, masks, scarves, and zip-up-style costumes in advance as needed.
    7. Self-driving on the same day is absolutely impossible when discharged from the hospital, so please take public transportation or accompany your guardian.
